These are the things that:

- are bad points about being located in Dwellingup, or about development in and around Dwellingup
- you would like to get rid of or minimise
- could be managed better (not only by the Shire and/or Government, but by the community or any other broad group within the Shire or the town)
- you would like to find a solution to.

What concerns the community - key themes from workshop

Postby admin on Thu Jul 23, 2009 12:20 pm

This section of the workshop focused on concerns or issues associated with the Dwellingup townsite. These were explained as the things that need to be avoided, repaired and managed in the review of the DSDP. Once a range of concerns were identified, each group discussed which were more important to them and assigned an appropriate rank.

From these, five key concerns emerged:
• Road Safety
• Impact of Development/Subdividing Land
• Fire Safety
• Lack of Health Services
• Possible Dilution of Heritage Features of the Town
