Land Insights has been appointed by the Shire of Denmark to review the current coastal management plan and to prepare the Coastal Management Strategy and Action Plan. The Study Area consists of the Shire-managed coastal reserves including Ocean Beach Reserve, Parry Beach Reserve, Boat Harbour Reserve and Peaceful Bay Reserve. The purpose of the Coastal Management Strategy is to identify the current land uses, values and issues at the Shire’s coastal reserves and to make recommendations for the management of these areas for the next 10 years.

A community survey has been created in order to obtain feedback from the community about their values, issues and opinions regarding the current and future management of the Shire’s coastal reserves. Please click on the link below to complete the survey. Your comments and feedback are highly valued and will contribute to the preparation of the strategy. Note that the survey will be removed after Friday the 25th June 2010.
