Ocean Beach and Wilson Head recreational walks

The Wilson Head area of Ocean Beach reserve is under-utilised for its recreational potential in terms of low-impact circular walk/cycle trails and viewing points. Currently no continuous walk trail from Ocean Beach via McGeary's Rock, Black Holes and Sinker Bay exists for enjoying a day's coastal walk or bicycle excursion. It would be great to have a good quality walk/cycle path around Wilson Head, especially during whale season, where people could walk, enjoy the ocean views and whale-watch from viewing platforms along the way. The panoramic views from the Wilson Head location are spectacular, and linking a coastal walk/cycle path to the Ocean Beach cycle path would give a wonderful Inlet and coastal experience for cyclists coming from Denmark town to the beach. Currently there are no dedicated coastal cycle/walk routes anywhere in the Shire of Denmark. The provision of a good quality coastal walk/cycle trail will be beneficial to visitors, day users, the appreciation of Denmark's coastal environments and marine life, and tourism and other economic initiatives in Denmark in general.
