Draft Picton Industrial Park District Structure Plan

Submissions are open until Friday 10 February 2017 for the recently released draft Picton Industrial Park Southern Precinct District Structure Plan (DSP)

The draft sets out the principal planning requirements, strategic landuse planning policies and aspirations for the area, which is east of the existing urban area of Bunbury.

The plan aims to provide strategic direction to local governments, state government agencies and developers.

Divided into 4 precincts, the DSP covers and area of approximately 520 hectares. About 375 of these have been identified for industrial develoment and about 70 hectares is already developed and occupied for industrial use.  The remaining hectares have been identified for railway uses, primary roads, regional open space, public utilities and public spaces.

Draft Development Control Policy 2.2- Residential Subdivision

Changes have been made to the Development Control Policy 2.2 - Residential Subdivision and the WAPC is asking for public comment.
