The plan has 4 key objectives
1 Interconnected meeting places for communities to meet, recreate in and enjoy.
2 Improved community access to the park's activities.
3 Destination of significance for all visitors.
4 Conserving the environment and Whiteman Park's heritage for the future.
Whiteman Park is one of the State's most visited attractions, more than 1 million people visit each year. The park covers almost 4000 hectares of natural bushland and leisure facilities. It is named after former local identity Mr Lew Whiteman.
