Roy Winslow

Over the past 25 years I have worked with owners, developers and local governments to achieve their urban and regional planning goals. My role involves both statutory and strategic land use planning, including development applications, scheme amendments, local planning strategies and policy development.

I am particularly interested in development strategies that make regional communities stronger and more sustainable. This includes crafting strategies that diversify regional economies, so they have the foundation they need to thrive.

When working with clients I believe a collaborative approach is most effective, as positive and sustainable outcomes are more likely when communities and other stakeholders feel ownership over a project.

Outside work I am passionate about trains and trams. I am also a proud member of the Planning Institute of Australia and have a strong background in GIS applications and community engagement.
